- Take long beans, wash well and chop into large pieces.
- In a vessel add water, chopped long beans, turmeric powder, salt and mix well.
- Close the lid and cook for 5-7 minutes on medium flame.
- To a mixer jar add coconut, green chili, buttermilk and grind to a smooth paste.
- Transfer ground masala paste to cooked long beans.
- Add a little amount of water and mix well.
- Allow to boil.
- In a tadka pan, heat oil, add red chili, mustard seeds, and curry leaves.
- Pour the prepared tempering to the boiled kayi huli.
- Traditional and tasty long bean buttermilk curry is ready.
- Serve with hot steamed rice or dosa, idli.
