- In a vessel add rice and wash a couple of times. Then soak for about 4 hours or overnight.
- Take a raw banana, peel the outer skin and chop into pieces.
- In a mixer jar add chopped raw banana and grind it.
- Add soaked rice and salt and grind it to a smooth paste.
- Add the required amount of water and check the consistency of batter.
- Heat the iron cast tawa and grease some oil.
- Pour the ladder full of batter and spread evenly.
- Close the lid and cook on medium flame.
- Open the lid, flip the dosa and cook both sides.
- If needed add ghee or oil on the top of the dosa.
- The healthy and traditional raw banana dosa is ready.
- Serve with chutney and sambar.
