Walnut coconut laddu is one of the healthy and protein rich sweets. This laddu is made without refined sugar. So walnut laddu is a very good option to include our diet. Walnut coconut laddu is a good snack for everyone. This laddu is not traditionally sweet but walnut laddu is very healthy to our body. Walnut coconut laddu is very easy, quick, instant we can prepare.

 

Plain walnuts do not have a good taste like other nuts. But this nut gives a lot of nutrients to our body. So this is a wonderful snack. You can add different nuts along with walnuts. For kids this is work to maintain good health.

For this making the laddu walnut and coconut are major ingredients. Along with this I added jaggery and cardamom powder to this recipe. Slightly roast the coconut and walnut in ghee, it will give a good taste for the laddu. Here I used cardamom powder for flavour and got a good aroma. You can use elaichi powder or other flavors.

For sweetness I used jaggery syrup for preparing the laddu. Instead of jaggery you can try with white sugar or brown sugar. When we add jaggery syrup it will form moisture well so no need to add extra liquid to bring the texture of laddu. When you add the brown sugar, it will not release the required amount of moisture so you need to add some milk. Finally the texture of the mixture comes to prepare the laddu.

After preparing the laddu roll into desiccated coconut or freshly grated coconut. And rolling in coconut is completely optional. You can store this laddu for 10 days in room Temperature.

  • Take a mixer jar, add walnut and grind to coarse powder or fine powder.
  • Heat the kadai, add ghee, grated coconut and roast for about 5 minutes.
  • Add ground walnut and again roast it for 5 minutes.
  • Once it is roasted well add cardamom powder, jaggery syrup. Mix everything and the texture becomes laddu.
  • Take a small amount of walnut coconut mixture and prepare a laddu.
  • Healthy and protein rich walnut coconut laddu is ready.
