Till juice is a very tasty and healthy juice. This juice is most common in the Karavali region in the summer. I will share an easy and simple procedure for making healthy juice. In our local language this juice is called Ellu Juice. This is beat any kind of milkshakes.
In the summer this is the most common and best juice. Soaking will help to make the smooth paste. Til or sesame seeds are natural coolant to our body. Consuming Roasted till seeds become heat to body so better to soak instead of roasting. In the winter you can roast the till while making the juice but in the summer I do not prefer to roast the till seeds.
To prepare the till juice, we need to soak it for a few minutes. While grinding seeds must have a paste texture so soaking is an important step. I have used white sesame seeds. You can try with black sesame too. The color differs in juice but taste is not changed and for health also no change at all. I love both the juices. I will white and black sesame seeds for juice.
Coconut gives a good texture, taste to the juice. Instead of coconut you can look for a vegan then use coconut milk or other varieties of milk like almond milk, soya milk. For sweetness I have added jaggery. Instead of jaggery you can use white sugar or brown sugar but adding sugar and till seeds are not a combination, for health also it is not good. For the flavor I added cardamom.
This juice is best if sudden guests arrive, meanwhile not having to make anything in hand for preparing the juice. This juice is best and without any side effects and healthy drinks so everyone can like this juice.
Till seeds are rich in nutrition and help to strengthen our body. So we need to include these seeds in our daily food chart or in our diets.

- Wash and rinse the sesame until the water runs clear. Drain all the water. soak the seeds for an hour.
- Grind sesame with grated coconut, jaggery and cardamom into a smooth paste using 1 cup of water.
- Transfer the ground sesame into a vessel and add upto another cup of water. Mix well. Dilute the juice with water according to your taste. Add more water if required.
- Take a serving glass, add ice cubes and enjoy the juice.
