The summers are always hated by everyone. But we could not escape from this summer season so we should beat this summer by this colorful sago fruit dessert. I will share simple and easy steps on how I prepared the sago fruit dessert. Fruits and milk combinations are best for the summer and it will help our body to hydrate.
The fruit desserts are tasty and delicious and very easy to prepare. In season many varieties of fruits are easily available. If the kids or children are fussy eaters of fruits this recipe will help you. We can include any fruits for combination. Sago will help with body temperature.
My son always wants ice cream or chilled juices, but daily i cannot. Same time I had fruits at home so I combined everything and prepared a yummy and delicious dessert. Loved the chilled fruit dessert. Here I added papaya, watermelon, apple,black and green grapes. Instead of this fruit you can add banana, pineapple, mango or other fruits. For sweetness I added condensed milk. You can try maple syrup, honey or white or brown sugar.if you want a thick texture then go with milk powder. Sabja seeds also cool our body and it gives a nice texture to the dessert.
This dessert is like a kheer. You can have any day including fasting. When you are preparing on fasting day add sugar or jaggery without condensed milk. I chilled the dessert for three hours, you can have it with or without chilling.

- Take a bowl, add sago and Soak the sabudana or sago about 2 hours
- Take a vessel, add soaked sago and cook until it starts to mushy.
- In a bowl add milk and condensed milk and combine well.
- Add cooked sabudana, chopped papaya, watermelon, black grapes, green grape, apple and mix wel.
- Close the lid and chill about 2 to 3 hours
- After chilling add sabja seeds and mix well.
- Take a serving glass, add chilled sago fruit dessert and enjoy.
