  • Peel the raw bananas and slice them. You can soak these slices in water with a pinch of turmeric to prevent them from turning brown.
  • Take it out of the water and place it on the plate.
  • In a mixing bowl or a plate, combine rava , red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala, salt, and a pinch of asafoetida.
  • Gradually mix everything, no need to add any water. This will be used to coat the banana slices.
  • Heat 2-3 tablespoons of oil in a tawa or flat frying pan over medium heat.
  • Dip each banana slice into the masala , ensuring they are evenly coated.
  • Place the coated banana slices on the hot tawa. You can do this in batches to avoid overcrowding.
  • Fry them until they turn golden brown and crispy on one side, then flip them over and cook the other side.
  • This should take about 4-5 minutes per side.
