  • Take a raw banana and peel the outer skin and transfer to water, keep aside.
  • In a kadai heat oil, cumin, raw banana peel and fry about 3-4 minutes on medium flame.
  • Add tamarind paste and fry for about a minute.
  • In a mixer jar add coconut, green chili, fried raw banana peel and water and grind it to a smooth paste.
  • In a mixing bowl add ground paste of peels, salt and buttermilk and mix well.
  • Check the consistency if required and add a little amount of water.
  • In a tadka pan heat oil, buttermilk chili or red chili mustard seeds, curry leaves and prepare the tempering.
  • Pour the tadka to the prepared tambuli and mix well.
  • Healthy and nutritious raw banana peel tambuli is ready.
  • Serve with hot steamed rice or have it as it is.
