Every plate of masalapuri has own story. My family members all like homemade recipes. I learnt this recipe from my uncle. As he doesn’t have any food from outside much but he loves to have masalapuri. My father also has madness towards masalapuri. So I learnt this recipe.
Masalapuri is made with fried puri and green peas curry. Instead of puri you can use other fried item like tukkudi. Green peas masala with ginger, garlic, mint and coriander leaves taste to it. Topped with onion, tomatoes, coriander leaves and sev for flavour. Sauced with red chilly chutney for spicy and tamarind with dates chutney for sweetness. Every bite of masalapuri gives satisfied taste to tummy.
Once all item prepared like fried poori’s, green peas curry, chopped onions and tomatoes, coriander leaves assemble in one place. Take one serving plate put items one by one and set. And serve when it is hot and with love. Definitely every family member will give a lovely feedback.
Here I’m not adding tamarind with dates chutney in this recipe, you can add it if you want. Once masalapuri chat is filled in plate serve as soon as possible otherwise what you used as base it become soggy. On that time you will get hot and crispy poori’s in masalapuri chat.
