The black pepper chutney powder or gunpowder is spicy and delicious. The black pepper powder is a very easy, healthy and unique recipe. It is a very traditional recipe and this recipe is almost lost. The healthy pepper chutney powder is very tasty and spicy.

One day I was talking with my grandma and suddenly she told me this recipe. Later I also forget this recipe, after some time I fall sick and my taste buds are completely bad. She again told me about this recipe, I tried and my taste buds got something after eating this. In the rainy season most of the people fall sick and this is best for them.

For preparing this recipe, you do not need much ingredients and too much time. It is prepared with a few ingredients like black pepper, dry coconut, and garlic. The garlic gives a good aroma and flavor to the recipe. Black pepper is naturally spicy and has a good flavor. Dry coconut has a good texture and brings down some spiciness. Fry the ingredients in medium or low flame. 

While grinding the roasted ingredients use the mixer jar without any water. Also do not add any liquid while grinding. After grinding, store in an airtight container. Use a dry spoon for a long shelf life.

Black pepper always gives health to the body. It prevents constipation, good for digestion. There is any harm to our body. So easily included in our diet food. Black pepper is one of the great spices in our kitchen. Using of Black pepper is a remedy to many diseases.

  • In a pan add dry coconut until it turns semi golden color.
  • Add black pepper, garlic pods and roast all the ingredients until you get an aroma.
  • Take a mixer jar, add roasted ingredients and grind it to a powder texture.
  • Transfer to the bowl, add salt and mix well.
  • Store in an airtight container and serve with hot rice and ghee.
