Poha cutlet is one of the super easy and healthy recipes. This is an instant recipe. The poha cutlet is ideal for kitty parties. Great appetizer. This snack recipe is not very oily. I will share complete steps of preparing a healthy and easy poha cutlet.
As a toddler mom always wants homemade and easy snacks for my kids. Because instant recipes and easy recipes are always great options and headache free in some situations or busy schedules. Whenever I am not getting sufficient time or my toddler wants an immediate snack it will come to my mind first.
The poha cutlet does not need much ingredients. Also I added whichever is easily available in the kitchen. Making the cutlet added thin poha and mashed using hand. Smashing is also simple because thin poha does not need much time to soak and is hard to squeeze or smash. Then added simple vegetables like onion, garlic, and grated carrot. For flavor, add fresh coriander leaves. Spices Coriander powder, and garam masala are added for the taste and enhance the cutlet. For spiciness I added red chili powder instead of this you can use green chili or pepper powder.
I made a round cutlet shape. For attracting you can prepare other sizes and shapes of cutlet. Making a round shape you can use a cookie cutter too.
Poha cutlet can be done in two ways : deep fry or shallow fry. Iam used shallow fry for that heat, a little amount of oil and placed one by one. Fry until it turns to crisp or semi golden color.serve with green chutney or ketchup or sauces. I prefer to eat when it is warm.
