Everyone is curious about badam mix powder. It is very easy to buy a pack or bottle of badam powder from the store. But we can easily prepare the badam mix at home in a very healthy way. You heard correctly, I will always prefer healthy homemade food for my kid so I tried this recipe and he enjoys the drink very well. Now I will share steps and procedures about how I prepare homemade Badam mix powder.

The badam mix is very healthy and super easy to prepare. It is one of the simple beverages. The badam mix is nutrition powder. We can drink, sprinkle to toddler recipes. The badam mix very helps to increase the immunity and healthy body of a toddler. Any generation also has this healthy version of beverage using healthy homemade badam mix powder.

We must roast the almonds very well before making the powder. Roasting will help to make a powder and it will have a good aroma to the powder. For flavor I added cardamom and saffron.  For sweetness I added jaggery powder.

If you want in addition to this recipe you can add pistachio nuts, milk powder. If you do not like jaggery then go with white sugar, brown sugar. Sweet is added completely to your tastes. 

Once you have done the powder, small or large quantities are stored in an airtight container. For a long shelf life use glass jars or bottles. When you scoop the powder, use a dry spoon. If you follow correct procurement steps then you can keep at room temperature for a month.

  • Take a pan and add badam roast for 10 minutes on medium flame.
  • Once roasted almonds cool down, transfer to the mixer jar.
  • Add cardamom, turmeric powder, saffron and grind to a coarse powder.
  • Add jaggery powder and again grind to a fine powder texture.
  • Now the badam mix is ready to use.
  • Take a saucepan, add milk and badam mix and mix well.
  • Boil it for 5 minutes on medium flame.
  • Then take a serving glass and pour the prepared drink.
  • Now the healthy badam drink is ready and enjoy.


Badam peeling of skin is completely optional. Instead of jaggery you can use White sugar or brown sugar.
