Amaranth leaves rotti is prepared from Amaranth leaves & rice flour. Jeera, Aamchur powder, coriander powder gives extra aroma to it. These Leaves are healthier for our body and soul. Amaranth leaves rotti are known as super food because they are beneficial for almost every organ of the body.


Amaranth leaves are very nutritious, edible leafy vegetables and it is similar to spinach. It is short seasonal annual crops. Amaranth leaves are ready for harvesting in about 4-6 weeks after sowing the seed. Its growth is mainly concentrated in tropical climates.

  • Take a bunch of amaranth leaves, Cut into small pieces.
  • Add 1 cup rice cup, approx 2 cups of cut amaranth leaves, cut onion and green chilly and mix it.
  • After mixing it, Add Jeera / cumin, coriander powder, turmeric powder, aamchur powder, salt as per taste and mix it.
  • Prepare the dough by adding water.
  • Take a butter paper and grease it. Later make a dough ball and spread it. Heat the flat pan and cook both sides well.
  • Now yummy Amaranth's leaves rotti is ready to eat. You can have it with a curd or chutney.
