Lemon squash is very easy recipe but need little patience. It is best method to store lemon syrup for long period. In summers we need cool beverages rather than hot beverages. So this squash will help you in summers and when you available quickly. For this squash, I have not added any preservatives hence it must be store in fridge.

Yes today I am explaining about how to prepare lemon squash. And will also share full details about the recipe and from the squash how to prepare juice of lemon.

When you start with the recipe first thing is clean the lemons. Make the lemon syrup, seeds are not wanted so you can remove the seeds before otherwise you need to strain. The syrup. Both option is there for seeds. Generally when we are drinking the juice if the seeds are come to the mouth.  This is one of the worst part I feel while I am drinking the juices. So beforehand all the seeds of lemons where removed.

Then make a sugar syrup. The sugar syrup enough one string consistency. If you boiled more sugar syrup will ruin. Once you done with the sugar syrup leave for complete cool down. Because when the lemon syrup adding to the sugar syrup it should be completely cool down like a normal water. Otherwise taste of lemon squash become turns to bitterness. Juice tastes also goes wrong. So most important point is sugar syrup is must and must cold when you are adding the lemon syrup.

You can mix the cardamom powder or pepper powder to the squash. Add little salt for the taste. Once you done with the squash for preparing a juice is very easy and simple steps to that. Take a serving glass add little amount of squash, water and ice. Ice is completely optional.

  • Take a lemon, wash it, make into half and takeout all the seeds. Take a bowl collect all juice from lemons.
  • In a saucepan add sugar and water boil it for 10 minutes in medium flame.
  • Leave for completely cool down of sugar syrup.
  • After cool down take a strainer, strain the sugar syrup and prepared lemon syrup.
  • Add salt and mix well. Lemon squash is ready.
  • Take a serving glass add lemon squash, ice cubes and water. Lemon juice is ready.
