Nowadays everyone wants or loves to eat north indian food, but when you are preparing at home. It is delicious and healthy too. Homemade is always best for everyone. Today I am explaining how to make roti from wheat flour. Every restaurant has tandoor oven but at home it is not possible to maintain it like that. Still, we can prepare tasty tandoor roti by following simple steps.

The tandoori roti is one of the staple foods for many states in North India. It is also a traditional flatbread recipe. Usually roti is made with tandoor ovens but here I made roti’s with tawa. It is very simple and easy to prepare. The roti’s are crisp in edges and soft in the middle part and perfect chewy texture. The tandoori roti can be prepared for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Roti is a very popular and famous order in many restaurants. Tandoor roti is served with any kind of punjabi side dish or sabzi.

I am a huge fan of roti and curry. Because curry can prepare very special and rich protein and nutrients for roti’s. Before trying a recipe for a tandoor roti at home, when i go to hotels, I usually order roti and curry. In my mind, preparing a roti is very difficult, we do not have a tandoors oven. Like this so many thoughts are coming to mind. Number of times my cravings for having a tandoor roti have ended, because every time it is not possible to go to restaurants to eat roti and curry.

For preparing a tandoor roti no need for many ingredients. I used only wheat flour for making soft tandoori roti instead of all-purpose flour.  Adding curd is another tip for making soft dough. Kneading is a little difficult task, because after preparing a dough it should be soft with all ingredients. The proper measurements of ingredients help to stick to tawa for preparing or get a smooth hotel or restaurant style tandoor roti.

Take some dough and spread it around using a roller and apply enough water to one side so it will easily stick to the tawa. If you apply less water it will remove from tawa when you flip the roti. Don’t add any kind of oil while preparing the roti. After preparing the roti, apply some butter or have it plain with the curry.

Prepare the tandoori roti and enjoy North Indian roti anytime in your home. I hope you are trying this super easy recipe in your home. Thank you guys for connecting me here. If you tried my recipes please comment and support me.
