  • In a kadai add ground nuts, roasted chana dal, white sesame seeds and roast until you get the aroma.
  • Once it cools down, transfer to a mixer jar and grind to a coarse texture.
  • In a kadai add oil, mustard seeds, asafoetida, curry leaves and fry for a minute.
  • Add onion and fry for 2 minutes.
  • Add chopped tomatoes and mix well until it starts to mushy.
  • Add capsicum, mix well and close the lid and cook for 5 minutes on low flame.
  • Open the lid and mix well.
  • Add turmeric powder, salt, jaggery, red chili powder and mix well.
  • Close the lid and cook until capsicum is properly cooked.
  • Add ground coarse nuts powder and mix well.
  • Add coriander leaves and combine together.
  • Tasty and simple capsicum stir fry is ready.
  • Enjoy with chapathi, roti.
