- In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Season the boiling water generously with salt and oil.
- Add the macaroni or pasta of your choice and cook according to the package instructions until it reaches your desired level of doneness (usually about 7-9 minutes)
- Drain the cooked pasta and pour some cold water and set it aside.
- In a separate saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Once the butter has melted and begins to foam, add the corn flour or all purpose flour.
- Stir continuously with a whisk or a wooden spoon to create a smooth paste, also known as a roux. Cook the roux for about 1-2 minutes, ensuring it doesn't brown.
- Gradually add the milk while continuing to whisk. This will prevent lumps from forming in the sauce.
- Keep stirring until the mixture thickens and reaches a creamy consistency. This usually takes about 5-7 minutes.
- Season the white sauce with salt, red chili flakes, oregano, freshly ground black pepper, and cheese . Adjust the seasonings to your taste.
- In a separate saucepan, add heat, some oil, add chopped onion, garlic and saute well.
- Add vegetables like capsicum, carrot, and corn saute well. In addition you can add your desired vegetables.
- Add herbs like salt, black pepper powder and mix everything and keep aside.
- For the prepared white sauce add semi cooked vegetables and cooked macaroni. Combine everything.
