Ingredients
  • 5 cup Chopped Sweet Potato
  • 1 qt Onion
  • 3 qt Green Chilly
  • 0.5 tbsp Turmeric Powder
  • 0.5 tbsp Red chilly Powder
  • 0.5 cup Grated Coconut
  • 1 tbsp Jaggery
  • 6 tbsp Oil
  • 1 qt Red chilly
  • 2 tbsp Urad dal
  • 1 tbsp Mustard Seeds
  • 10 qt Curry Leaves
  • 1 tbsp Salt (Adjust as per taste)
Instructions
  1. Chop the sweet potato, onion, green chilly and keep aside.
  2. In a pan, add oil, red chilly, urad dal, mustard and curry leaves for tampering.
  3. For the tampering add green chilly and onion fry until it colour changes into brown.
  4. Then add the chopped sweet potato, turmeric, red chilly powder, jaggery (optional), Salt and required amount of water, mix well and cook well.
  5. Once sweet potato cooked, add grated coconut and mix well.
  6. Now , yummy sweet potato masala is ready to eat. You can serve with Hot Tea or coffee.
