Yields: 1 Serving Difficulty: Easy Prep Time: 10 Mins Cook Time: 5 Mins Total Time: 15 Mins

The pineapple dosa is one of the traditional recipe. This dosa is very tasty, healthy and delicious recipe. When its winter season many fruits are available in nature. One of the fruit is pineapple, a tropical fruit. Every morning needs good breakfast because it’s the mood of the whole day. In my native they grow pineapple, so I get fresh and also in a plenty number.

I’m a fruit lover, my never ending love for pineapple. Remembered fun incident in my childhood, whoever asks what fruit do you need for juice, dosa, sweet, etc. My only answer is pineapple juice, pineapple dosa, pineapple ksheera etc. My wish for only pineapple is never ending, there no other fruit I like the most.

I always like flavoured dosa rather than simple rice dosa.  So I added chopped pineapple pieces to rice while grinding for dosa batter. Then adjust the salt and water to it. Dosa batter is ready and spreads in a hot tawa. On the top i applied ghee (you can apply oil completely your choice) cook both the side. Healthy and pineapple dosa is ready. Pineapple dosa is good combination with sambar and ginger coconut chutney.

The pineapple dosa is unique in taste. If pineapple is sour add a little jaggery while grinding. For Dosa to be spongy, batter need to be spread little thick.
