Cucumber paratha is soft, flatbread like other parathas. Paratha is north Indian cuisine I gave a twist to nativity to India. This is a simple combination but tastes so good.

 

Paratha is a very common breakfast in the northern part of India but it also serves for lunch and dinner. It is a healthy stomach filler and food good for your diet too. We can have it as it is or have it with dahi / curd or pickle.

Usually, paratha stuffed with boiled vegetables and outer cover from wheat flour. This paratha is not stuffed inside the dough, instead of mixed with flour directly when preparing the dough. So dough will be not taken much time to make. The simple method i have followed for this paratha by grating cucumber and added to the flour with masalas like coriander powder, aamchur powder, and ginger garlic paste. At last, I have adjusted with salt as per taste. You can add other masalas for spiciness and flavor.

The grated cucumber releases more water so no need to add extra water. So cucumber paratha is easily made for any time. Once cucumber paratha dough is done, not keep more time because it releases water. So once done dough starts to roll and put in a hot pan with ghee or oil cook both the side.

Cucumber is easily available in all most seasons. While doing the recipes from cucumber cut, remove and rub the edges to remove all toxins from it. Cucumber is of low calories, high water content vegetable. So this is one of the best recipes for summer. The cucumber is very good for our body.

  • Take a cucumber, cut, remove, rub the edges and grate it, and training after to a bowl.
  • Add wheat flour, coriander powder, aamchur powder, and ginger garlic paste, salt to taste. Mix well.
  • If required add water. Mix and knead the dough for 2 minutes.
  • Take a small amount of paratha dough, dust with flour, and spread by rolling it.
  • In a hot pan put the rolled dough and grease ghee or oil and cook both the side.
  • Yummy healthy cucumber paratha is ready to serve with curd, pickle, and have as it is.
