Cabbage Salad

Salad is always good for health. We can eat for breakfast, lunch, snack or dinner. Definitely this kind of salad is liked by everyone. Direct consumption of Cabbage, onion is given crunchiness to salad. Tomato gives little sour taste, green chilly gives spicy flavour, grated coconut gives sweet to salad. Ingredients
  • 2 qt Onion
  • 1 qt Tomato
  • 1.5 cup Cut Cabbage
  • 2 qt Green Chilly
  • 5 tbsp Grated Coconut
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 0.5 tbsp Urad Dal
  • 0.5 tbsp Jeera / Cumin
  • 8 qt Curry Leaves
  • 1 tbsp Salt (Adjust as per taste)
Instructions
  1. Chop Cabbage, green chilly, onion, Tomato into small pieces.
  2. In a bowl add chopped items, grated coconut, salt for taste and mix well.
  3. For tampering, In a small pan add oil, urad dal, mustard seeds and curry leaves. Put to salad.
  4. After adding tampering mix well once. Have it is or serve with hot rice and ghee.
